In a sandwich store two Moroccan men, Mohammed A. (21) and El G. (20), are harassing a group of girls, Jan Kievit (38, father of 2) makes a comment about it. Outside Jan Kievit kicked and knocked down by Mohammed A. When the police and ambulance comes a bigger group of about 20-30 Moroccans is standing around the wounded man and say to him: "Go and die! Go and die!". The group does not allow the ambulance personnel to help the man.
A bystander says he went sick of the incident. "It was too disgusting for words to express. I have it very difficult with this, certainly now I know the man has died a few hours later", the very emotional bystander said.
An other bystander says that the police could not do anything. "I wanted to go and fight to remove them, but we where only with a few people. Also the police could not do anything until more police officers arrived."
In Holland the police is just as scared as unarmed bystanders...
It is now reported that the two man plus a third man where earlier that evening apprehended by the police in Delft. They where harassing other train passengers. But after a short speech of the police officer they where released. Several witnesses declared that he Mohammed A. said before the murder: "Just like Theo van Goghs murderer, Mohammed B., I will not be pushed around!".
It is possible that Mohammed A. can not be prosecuted for man-slaughter. The section report on the victim says that he crack in a vein and that it is not clear if violence cased the dead of Jan Kievit.
